Since I was a young child and living in my home state of Maine I have been making jewelry. I used to go to a bead shop called The Beaded Moose and take beading classes with my mom and buy the coolest rubies and pearls and charms I could find. Even now I'm still making jewelry - usually as gifts for friends and family.

I've started to use my soldering knowledge to plate various things - sea glass, shells, broken plates and cups, old jewelry in need of a facelift - and hope to eventually shadow under a metalsmith to learn the ins-and-outs of fine silver and gold jewelry making.
